Nature and Scope:
The Corporate Business Office Manager position ensures that all AR procedures are followed closely and within company policy to ensure the maximization of company AR potential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Tracking/ understanding the payer arrangement of every resident in an assigned facility.
Assistance with document collection and oversight for the Medicaid application process.
Understanding the unique nuances of each payer source in the skilled nursing arena on a deep level.
Constant auditing and understanding of all relevant outstanding balances and developing effective plans of action for each situation.
Business office oversight to ensure accountability and progressive action at the facility level at all times.
Understanding of resident ledgers including the background of all relevant charges and payments posted.
Cash postings within AR software.
Daily census posting/ reconciliation.
Experience/ Skills Needed:
Relevant AR experience within the skilled nursing/ medical industry is a plus but is not required.
PCC Experience Required.
Strong computer skills.
Microsoft Excel experience is a plus.
High School Diploma.
