The Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee is seeking an experienced corporate and business travel Sales Manager to help take our Lake Country gathering place to the next level. We offer over 40,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, 192 Guest Rooms, as well as an indoor Water Park.
We are searching for a highly motivated individual who has corporate and business travel hotel experience. We view the Sales Manager as a valuable member of our Sales and Catering Team and would like a clever individual that is personable, outgoing, and has the ability to provide a memorable experience for our guests. This is a full-time, salaried/exempt position, which includes some evening and weekend hours. Some responsibilities include:

• Lead the hotel to increased profitability with self-prospecting new and current accounts, developing contracts, negotiating and closing sales
• Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within the market
• Persuasively sell all facets of the hotel with top level written and verbal communication
• Network via trade shows, community events, social media and industry meetings
• Maintain detailed records of sales activities, results, reporting, and correspondence in hotel system
• Demonstrate focus on high quality customer service, while keeping a sales edge
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Maintain a professional appearance and poise commensurate with the image of the hotel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hotel sales experience, required / corporate and business travel sales experience preferred
• Provide creative and proven prospecting business acumen.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and skilled at presenting to key decision makers.
• Aptitude for making accurate suggestions on rates based on hotel needs and market conditions.
• Proficiency with Salesforce helpful.
• Remote position is possible with experience, some in-office days per month will be required.
