Seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, and creative professional for an immediate “Copy Editor” position with the Learning Innovation Branch on Fort Huachuca. Candidate will work on an integrated team with Instructional Designers, subject matter experts, courseware and multimedia developers to design cutting edge training solutions supporting classroom and online learning environments.

The “Copy Editor” will be expected to work within established project processes, collaborate with team members, and meet project deliverables by designing and presenting detailed storyboards, as well as effectively manage client relationships throughout the instructional design and development process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review text for readability, free of grammatical errors, logically structured, follows Army writing style, and is ready for publication.
• Ensure all acronyms are spelled out at first use.
• Review and edit audio scripts, video scripts, and storyboards.
• Advise on layout and edit technical materials.
• Archive communications such as print or broadcast media in an easily identifiable and searchable format.
• Create, review, edit, and disseminate online surveys for USAICoE projects. Compile respondent data into an actionable format.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to pass government security clearance at the Secret Level
• Bachelor' 's Degree
• Minimum 2 years' experience writing and developing technical and requirements documents IAW USAICoE, Army, DoD, and Industry writing standards. Experience must reflect the ability to proofread, revise, and produce documents ready for publication or dissemination following professional standards for pagination and format.
• Experience must include taking documents of varying document formats and file types and converting them into a final document format for publication.
• Experience must include performing quality control of written, scripted, or narrated content.
• Extensive working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications and Adobe applications for publication editing; example Adobe Acrobat Pro.
