Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Coordinator Inpatient Rehab to join our team who will foster an environment of teamwork, quality and safety for our patients. What You Will Do In This Role:

  • You will complete Pre-Admission Screening Instrument (PAI) for patients admitted to the Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and oversee all aspects of the data collection.
  • You will transmit data, compile reports, recommend improvements and submit PAI to final coding at facility and CMS.
  • You will coordinate the clinical auditing activities within the Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and provide staff education to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines.
  • You will conducts concurrent chart review for technical compliance and content to ensure Analyzes Functional Independence Measure (FIM) scoring is accurate; appropriately questions and acts to correct any FIM discrepancies.
  • You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Rehab Team.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • Graduate of an accredited school in clinical specialty is required.
  • Licensed professional in Texas in a clinical health care specialty (i.e. Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist) is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical care experience of inpatient rehabilitation is required.
  • Current BLS certification is required.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
