- Full Time
- 6am-3pm and every other weekend; 10am-7pm and every other weekend
- $17.50/hour
Requirements:
- One (1) to two (2) years’ experience as a Cook’s Helper, Grill Cook or Line Cook, preferably in a Health Care operation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Follows recipes and production sheets, as written, and informs Manager/Supervisor of any adjustments that are made, documents adjustments on production sheets.
- Prepares pan garnishes for “front of the house” operations.
- Sets up steam tables on time and organizes them according to diagrams to avoid delays on tray line; this includes “specials”; reviews all food items on steam tables with Supervisor.
- Ensures that all hot food temperatures are at least 165 degrees for entrees, starches, and vegetables. Monitors temperatures throughout the meal service.
- Batch cooks items ensuring optimal food quality, i.e., scrambled eggs, French-fries, vegetables, etc.
