We are seeking a Contractual Certificate Technician to join our Commercial Lines - Construction team in Wichita, KS. This role provides direct support to IMA Clients and the Construction Services Team by coordinating requests for and the rejection of certificates of insurance, endorsement issues, and reviewing for compliance to meet insurance requirements.
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Actively participate in Construction Team meetings and round-table coverage conversations
- Provide in-depth review of insurance and risk transfer requirements in contracts
- Advise Construction Service Team of any potential coverage issues/discrepancies
- Work closely with the service team to provide advisement to the client
- Independently process and issue certificates based on the review of the contract or insurance specifications
- Assist in account servicing needs during the policy year as it relates to certificates
- Accountable for maintaining account files in EPIC
- Provide assistance to the Certificate of Insurance Center of Excellence with guidance and additional structured training sessions
- 2+ years of professional experience required
- Intermediate skill with MS Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel) required
- High school diploma required
- Strong level of comfort with learning and utilizing computer software programs (EPIC,CSR24,MYCOI, and TrustLayer)
- Associate's degree preferred
