Preferred arrangement is 3 days per week in office with remainder being remote. Other arrangements will also be considered based on employee's home location. For all arrangements, occasional travel to the Precise Systems, Inc. headquarters in Lexington Park, MD will be required

We are seeking a Contracts Specialist to support our corporate office.

Duties:

  • Provide cradle-to-grave contract administration support for Government contracts of various contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M) and sizes.
  • Process contract modification documents from the government or from our prime contractors.
  • Manage contract actions as they are routed through the department and contact entities to answer questions or to obtain needed documentation.
  • Prepare and review Representations and Certifications and other ad hoc data calls.
  • Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
  • Negotiate NDAs, PIAs, and TAs, as contractually required.
  • Primary focal point for Government customer and other Prime contract customers to facilitate communications.
  • Submit Limitation of Funds notifications, CDRLs, and other deliverables, as required.
  • Process contract files for Closeout activities.
  • Interface closely and often with management at all levels, and with other functional areas, including Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Human Resources/Recruiting.

Required Education:

  • AS/AA preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of education requirements.

Required Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience with a Federal Government Contractor as part of a contracts management and/or subcontracts management team.
  • Understanding and experience with diverse contract types, including IDIQ, Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, and Time & Materials contracts.
  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, Agency Regulations, etc.
  • Experience with Deltek CostPoint is a plus.
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Office.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, manage time effectively and work independently to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Extremely detail oriented with highly effective organizational skills.
