Contract Superitendent Job at B360™
Qualifications
- An accredited AS degree in Construction Management or a related civil, structural, mechanical or electrical field.
- A minimum of 5 years of construction experience on multiple projects totaling over $1 million.
- A minimum of 10 years of construction experience on multiple projects totaling over $1 million annually may be substituted for the Associate’s degree and 5 years of experience.
- Have a total of 30 hours in OSHA General Construction training courses.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Contract Superintendent shall perform daily superintendent duties for a minimum of 2 hours at each active site.Some of the roles performed will include:
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities
- Implement safety and quality guidelines
- Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
