Camp Margaritaville is currently looking for an fun, enthusiastic and creative Social Media Content Creator to join our team.

The main priority of this role is going to be starring in (camera facing) and producing videos highlighting offerings, events, Live Music, and updates about the Resort.

As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing engaging and entertaining content across various social media platforms. If you have a passion for social media, a knack for storytelling, love being in front of the camera creating fun and memorable content, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What You'll Do

• Content Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand's tone and objectives. You will be responsible for brainstorming creative ideas, planning content calendars, and executing strategies that captivate our target audience.
• Content Creation: Create original, entertaining, and shareable content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter. This includes writing engaging captions, filming and being featured in videos, designing graphics, and editing multimedia content to ensure it stands out from the crowd.
• Trend Spotting: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, memes, and viral content. Use your keen eye for trends to infuse our brand's messaging with timely and relevant content, keeping our audience entertained and engaged.

What You'll Bring

• Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality with an established and strong online following
• Proven Experience: Previous experience in content creation, social media management, or a related field is preferred. Showcasing a portfolio of your previous work will be highly advantageous.
• Creative Mindset: A strong sense of creativity with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative content ideas. You should be able to bring fresh perspectives and inject fun into every piece of content you create.
• Social Media Savvy: In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their unique features, and best practices. Familiarity with the latest social media trends, memes, and viral content is essential.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and entertaining content. A witty and relatable writing style is a plus.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. You should be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality content consistently.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Social media is constantly evolving, and trends change quickly. You must be adaptable and open to trying new formats, styles, and platforms to keep our content fresh and engaging.
