JOB SUMMARY:

The Content Marketing Strategist is responsible for identifying business goals and building a relevant strategic plan for content creation and placement to support those goals. This professional is the consummate expert in developing, communicating, and executing Integrated Marketing content strategy.

FUNDAMENTAL JOB TASKS:

• Own and direct the brainstorming and collaboration activity across business functions to build a holistic content marketing strategy
• Coordinate with internal and external partners on content production and execution
• Oversee the Integrated Marketing content planning process
• Perform keyword research, affecting both long-tail search phrases and individual terms
• Study best-performing forms of marketing content, for both the organization and its competitors
• Consult on search engine optimization or other forms of content performance analytics
• Lead meetings with various groups, from discovery sessions to content planning gatherings and ROI presentations
• Writing for website copy, Weekly Ad copy, social media posts, scripts, blog posts, articles, product descriptions, case studies, white papers, emails, newsletters, e-books, pages, and company bios
• Research/organize facts related to the assigned topic and content type both online/offline to compile and organize writing ideas
• Rewrite content or write from scratch depending on assignment requirements
• Conducting interviews when required for content creation

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years in similar role providing strategic leadership
• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required
• Bilingual Spanish strongly desired both written and verbal
• Proficient in MS Office
• Professional certification in Content Marketing, Copywriting, or equivalent experience
• Professional certification in Project Management or equivalent experience
• Extraordinary research, organizational, and learning abilities
• Demonstrated experience creating various types of content throughout the customer journey
• Proficient in writing for SEO and understanding the technologies that drive and support SEO
