Primary Purpose
This position is responsible to plan for and execute the standardization of process integration for assigned global SAP workstream(s) of high complexity. Partners with IT to provide direction and alignment on the domain strategy and roadmap for assigned SAP workstream(s), ensuring key finance business processes and capabilities are designed and deployed in an integrated and effective manner and in accordance with corporate standards. Manages business priorities and complexities. Ensures that processes are performed in the most efficient/cost-effective manner in order to deliver exceptional service to the business and Brands. This role works closely with key partners in Data Governance and Global Risk & Controls.

In assigned workstream(s), i.e. GL, AR, AP, FA/PS, BPC, MDG, R&A:
10+ years
Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Computer Engineering or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred

Duties and Responsibilities
In assigned workstream(s), i.e. GL, AR, AP, FA/PS, BPC, MDG, R&A:
- Acts as strategic consultant providing consulting support to finance business management on applying financial technology to business opportunities.
- Oversees execution of upgrades and additional scope and is accountable to ensure sustainability of Ahold Delhaize global template in partnership with EU and GSO.
- Oversees the decoupling of multiple legacy systems across ADUSA, utilizing state of the art SAP financial solutions.
- Partners closely with IT leadership to ensure requirements are properly defined and developed, delivering the agreed upon benefits.
- Makes decisions by applying advanced principles, theories and concepts requiring extensive technical and financial acumen.
- In partnership with IT, directs and leads the coordination of incident management with external AMS, change management, problem management and release & deployment management across all SAP workstreams.
- Leads efforts on roadmap planning for the long-term standardization and integration of SAP.
- Strong knowledge and experience of SAP
- Experience working in a sophisticated multi-ERP system environment
- Ability to proactively identify and mitigate process risks within a cross-functional, global organization
- Deep understanding of continuous process improvement techniques
- Experience leading project timelines and milestones in complex business environments.
