Construction Supervisor Job at Prospect Construction
The successful candidate for this position will have a few years of experience in project management, knowledge of construction work and the ability to manage a team through challenging situations. The successful candidate will work with a team of skilled carpenters and laborers on a daily basis, and must be able to work well under pressure. The candidate must have strong leadership skills, be able to work as part of a team and must have the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise sub-contractors, personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure the projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee the construction of residential or commercial buildings or large facility improvements.
- Supervise unskilled workers.
- Supervise the use of heavy equipment.,Maintain relationships with sub-contractors to ensure smooth interactions.
- Analyze plans for accuracy and suggest changes as necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- San Francisco Bay Area, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Construction: 4 years (Required)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (Required)
