B&N Construction Representative Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site construction observation services for municipal construction projects including water/wastewater treatment plants, waterline and sewer projects
  • Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Measure quantities installed
  • Prepare and maintain as-construction records
  • Coordinate and communicate with the Project Manager as necessary throughout the project
  • Work with project team to resolve issues during construction
  • Act as a liaison with residents, clients, project managers, and the construction team.
  • Participate in project meetings •

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3+years of related construction and inspection experience
  • Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
  • Work may sometimes require working in inclement weather, working in a construction site, being exposed to heavy construction equipment, and walking
  • Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
