Construction Foreperson – Vermont: We are seeking a safety-minded, qualified, self-motivated candidate to work on various construction projects. The selected individuals will work in a grade foreperson capacity, which could mean transferring from one task to another, as demands require assistance on a project. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to working with equipment, labors and management. Responsible for conducting field surveys, grade and layout in various aspects of construction. Working on all stages of a project from pre-construction to post. Previous road and dirt construction experience is required. We are willing to further train the right candidate who possesses a strong work ethic and is eager to learn. Position based out of Vermont but will need to be able to work in New Hampshire and Maine as needed. Classification: Seasonal hourly position.

Requirements:

• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.
• Maintain and verify site control and benchmarks.
• Operate robotic totals stations, GPS and level instruments.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Prepare layout data from digital design files.
• Work with automated equipment such as motor graders and dozers.
