Sterling Breen Crushing, Inc. is currently seeking an Construction Contract Administrator to join our Heavy Civil team in Centralia, WA. Full-Time M – F, 6:30 A.M – 3:00 P.M. with ½ hr lunch break. Hourly Pay - DOE

Sterling Breen Crushing, Inc. is a well-known small business in this community and has been in business for 50+ years. We have multiple activities within our company which include rock crushing, trucking & road construction.

Position Summary

This position performs an administrative and operational role that focuses on Heavy Civil Construction. As the Contract Administrator you will provide professional administrative support to multiple departments and personnel daily. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills who has an ability to manage the workflow.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Process Contract Awards and modifications
  • Assist Project Managers and Estimators with Proposal Packages and Subcontractor Bids
  • Interface with clients, project managers, procurement technicians and financial specialist to ensure document compliance for all projects.
  • Ensure all required project documents are submitted to the contract owner by deadline
  • Process subcontractor pay applications and associated Lien Releases
  • Type all letters, memoranda, and reports as directed by project operations team
  • Coordinate and maintain working project operations files
  • Proof read Subcontractor Master Agreements and Task Orders, distribute for execution
  • Review and track Subcontractor Insurance
  • Review certified payrolls and process
  • Process Intents & Affidavits
  • Review and process daily reports from construction supervisors

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in construction administration
  • Efficient in certified payroll review and Davis Bacon/Department of Labor requirements
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Pay: $50,000 - $56,000 per year
