Job Summary

The CMDB Process Lead position is responsible for the maintaining and auditing of the CMDB, driving conversations with IT and business partners to define process requirements. This role will assist in creating standards and processes for configuration items to drive the overall quality of the CMDB. This role ensures that configuration items are accurate and complete through audit report and process standards. Will involve partnering and supporting other IT and ITSM process areas, utilize analytics to assist in planning and implementing for the continuing improvement of the configuration management process.

Responsibilities

Required Job Qualifications:

Bachelor degree and 2 years in Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 4 year Information Technology experience OR 6 years Information Technology experience, with 1 years in ITIL Process role.

  • Ideal candidate shall be self-motivated and comfortable within a dynamic atmosphere
  • Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment and able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Experience with core ServiceNow applications and related modules
  • Experience with ServiceNow schema of attributes and tables
  • Experience with ServiceNow implementations and maintenance and upkeep of ServiceNow CMDB
  • Keen understanding of ITIL framework and industry best practices with ITIL v3 or v4.
  • Experience with SaaS ITSM Suite of tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience with IT Asset Management and CMBD Integration.
  • Experience with IT standards, procedures, policies.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, COBIT, ITIL, CMMI and other process standards.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Experience with demand / consumption management.
  • Experience developing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining CMDB governance processes, procedures, policies and related documentation
  • Familiarity with XML and JSON/script language concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Resourceful, takes the initiative to accomplish goals and objectives
