Community Manager

CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, Exempt
COMPENSATION: $65,000 - $70,000 per year + performance bonuses

POSITION SUMMARY: The Community Manager is the top site-level position at Redstone Residential and is responsible for all aspects of property operation. The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager, who operates out of the corporate office. The Community Manager strives to achieve all operational and financial goals for the property.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the property to the approved operating budget
  • Oversee the lease-up of the property
  • Collect rents, manage delinquency, and submit weekly and monthly reports to Redstone.
  • Oversee all on-site team members and hold weekly 1-1 meetings.
  • Create a positive environment that enhances the experience for our residents
  • Build and maintain relationships with campus and community resources
  • Promote and emphasize outstanding customer service through staff training and on-going job performance evaluations
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
  • Manage projects ranging from marketing initiatives to construction projects

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of Property Management experience (Student or Conventional)
  • Ability to use and quickly learn technology – Google Apps, Microsoft Office, cloud-based management and dashboarding software
  • Ability to manage projects and multitask several processes at once under stressful conditions
  • Experience with Entrata software or familiarity with PM software is a plus but not required
  • Detail-oriented work ethic, experience managing to a budget, P&L ownership
  • “Client-ready” professional demeanor and presentation. Previous client interface experience required.
