The community manager is an integral part of the employee experience and will act as the “face” of the Workplace Evolution program. In this role, you will support the employees by facilitating the collaborative community environment and by being the first point of contact for any concerns or suggestions. An ideal candidate for this role would be a doer, collaborator, and solution-centric; all the while creating a hospitable environment within a new workplace setting.
Space Operations and Management
  • Ensure that the team rooms, conference rooms, and other collaborative areas have functional technology, and equipment and create work order tickets for spaces that need attention.
  • Communicate any facility concerns to the building and property management teams
  • Maintain and prepare signage for conference rooms and shared workspaces as necessary.
  • Identify issues for escalation to the onsite team and Lead Community Manager as required.
  • Assist with move-ins and move-outs; prepare marketing-approved signage for the team, and conference spaces and distribute welcome materials outlining the policies and building info of the Workplace Evolution program.

Point of Contact
  • Monitor the email distribution group answer questions or refer the employee to additional resources if required.
  • Lockers management and assignment when needed
  • Assist new employees and be able to direct them to other resources for onboarding assistance
  • Solve community-related issues to ensure a cohesive and collaborative environment.
  • Assist with community events and provide hospitality services for client events & functions.

Community Management
  • Manage the community roster and locker assignments; assist with locker issues and new assignments.
  • Meet monthly with the service support groups to go over policy reminders, department issues, or any other concerns the team may have. Be sure to communicate the notes of these meetings with the Lead CM and the various building management units as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute a monthly newsletter

Experience and Requirements
  • Prior Customer service and Event experience is a plus
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Be able to demonstrate work ethic, accountability, and be self-driven.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and applications
  • Prior experience with event management systems or online booking tools is a plus

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, communications, or a related field
  • 1-3 years experience in meeting planning and/or reception roles
  • Extensive experience/knowledge in Reservation & Visitor Management systems (EMS Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills; including written, verbal, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent skills in (Excel, Word PowerPoint, Access, and Email)
  • Ability to multi-task; managing multiple projects and work assignments, all with great attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills both in person and over the phone with the highest level of professionalism
  • Team player but also able to work independently with little supervision
  • Energetic and positive attitude
