Job Summary


The West Community Student Engagement Program (WCSE) is designed to engage University of West Georgia Federal Work Study (FWS) students in improving quality of life for community residents, particularly low-income individuals, or to address issues such as literacy, social services, housing, neighborhood improvement, public safety, recreation, at-risk youth and community improvement.

The student will work in a clerical role which includes organizing, making deliveries, working reception, filing, and working events. Position requires skills in customer service, writing, and computer literacy.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled half-time or more at UWG with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • FWS Eligible
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong writing skills


Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to drive and deliver light packages
