SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring all contractual shelf-stocking requirements are fulfilled, through nightly completion of productivity and supervisor paperwork.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for nightly tabulation of time cards. Time cards must be cross-referenced with time sheets to verify accurate timekeeping.

  • Responsible for accurate and timely submission of nightly productivity sheets, in order to allow sufficient data input time at the corporate office.
  • Fill in nightly productivity numbers for each employee on the appropriate nightly sheets; Fax or email completed sheets to the corporate office.
  • Assists project manager in the indoctrination of new employees in order to provide appropriate training.
  • Assure that all workers have the equipment needed for shelf stocking, in order to meet all safety standards.
  • Inform project manager of supplies that are low, in order to avoid a shortage.
  • Responsible for breaking down nightly deliveries in an orderly and timely manner.
  • Prepare schedule in conjunction with include the following.

a. 75% or more disabled worker labor hours

b. Enough staff to finish required tasks in 6-8 hours.

  • Complete supervisors’ nightly checklists as well as the quality control checklist, in order to maintain documentation per contractual agreements.
  • In charge of quality control for the shelf stocking to assure standards are regularly met.
  • Inform project manager of any behavior or incidents detrimental to our relationship with DECA or project goals.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises 5 to 35 employees doing shelf-stocking/RSHA work. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in conjunction with the project manager.

JOB CONTROLS: Receive general oral or written instructions and assignments from project manager. Carry out assignments with independence. Workflow are reviewed regularly for satisfactory performance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: One-year job related experience and/or training. One year of Supervisory experience, Grocery or Warehouse experience preferred.
