First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a customer-focused, team-oriented, goals-driven Commercial Banking Service Representative (CBSR) to join our Commercial Banking Group. In this role, you’ll be responsible to provide (directly and/or through Commercial Banking Officer) customer service, sales and operational banking and lending support for commercial banking clients. Prepare various management reports and customer correspondence.

The Commercial Banking Service Representative title and grade is at the discretion of the Manager and will be discussed at the time of the offer. It may be different than what is listed on the requisition based on the candidate's experience level.

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (Hours may vary)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2 years of experience in commercial loan documentation, cash management, service delivery and/or branch operations required (CBSR II).
  • 5 years of experience in commercial loan documentation, cash management, service delivery and/or branch operations required (CBSR III).
  • Associate's degree in Business or related field; or equivalent experience in banking/financial services operations or consultative client services, requiring application of financial acumen, critical thinking and organizational skills required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; or equivalent experience in banking/financial services operations or consultative client services, requiring application of financial acumen, critical thinking and organizational skills required (CBSR III).
  • Basic understanding of financial products and services (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts preferred.
  • Complex loan documentation experience desirable (CBSR III).
  • Knowledge working with databases, systems, and PC desktop technology.
  • General understanding of all business products and services including ancillary areas, such as Business. Services, Cash Management, Employee Benefits, and Corporate Cards.
  • PC skills using MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must be highly accurate, thorough, and capable of timely and efficient follow-up.
  • Able to prioritize among multiple time-sensitive tasks.
  • Possess organizational and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Possess oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to follow through on servicing requests made by Commercial Banking Officers.
  • Must be team oriented.
