CNC Programmer/Setup Technician Job at MacLean-Fogg
Job Summary
Performs work associated with the installation and calibration of various machines.
Job Duties
· Perform complex troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments
· Test and inspect machines to determine safe and efficient operation, perform routine maintenance and fix standard malfunctions
· Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production method, and sequence of operation
· Operate powered industrial equipment if needed
· Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
· Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
· Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
· Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
· Perform work under minimal supervision
· Handle complex issues and problems and only the most complex issues to higher level staff
· Possess comprehensive working knowledge of subject matter
· 10+ years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment
· 2-year degree in CNC Machining, Mechatronics, or related
· Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
