• Job Description: CNC Mill Setup/Operator - 2nd Shift

Ultra Precision Machining is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team!

This solicitation is designated for a fully capable machine operator that can setup, run, and operate multiple (typically 2-3) CNC milling machines. Prospects will be tasked with running complicated setups and problem solving independently.

Applicants should be able to read and understand geometric tolerancing on 2D drawings, as well as be able to grasp 3D models.

Responsibilities:

Setup and Operate machine tools to produce precision parts

Identify and troubleshoot equipment/ production problems and defects

Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products

Ability to use Inspection Equipment (ie. micrometers, height gages, calipers, etc.…)

Participate in routine visual inspections with our QC Inspector

Uphold a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Minimum 4-Year work experience as a CNC Setup/Operator

Familiarity with machine tools and equipment

Must be able to operate machinery independently

Strong analytical and mathematical skills

Keen attention to detail

Must have a strong work ethic - able to do multiple things at one time

This is a 2nd shift, full time position requiring 80 hours in 2 weeks ( 9 hour days, every other Friday is off).
