Japanese manufacturing company is looking for Machinist.
Location: Carson, CA
Company: Japanese / Manufacturing
Rate: $18-20/h
Status: Direct hire, non-exempt
- Level: Jr. (CNC machines experience)
Duties:
- Machine parts to specifications using CNC machining center, Lathe, Mill machine.
- Measure, examine, and test completed parts in order to ensure conformance to drawings
- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines
- Basic machine maintenance
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Understanding CNC machine, basic CNC programing, machine tools
- Experience in CNC machining is a plus.
- Experience in machine maintenance is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
