CNC Lathe Specialist Summary:

Reich Tool & Design is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Specialist to work 2nd shift in our Menomonee Falls facility off of Technology Dr. and Silver Spring Dr. This position is responsible for the set-up and running of components through a variety of CNC Lathe machines per print. Qualified candidates will have former programming experience using Gibbs Cam or comparable programming software.

CNC Lathe Specialist Responsibilities:

• Set-up, adjust and operate horizontal lathes to produce parts.
• Knowledge of machining characteristics of a wide variety of materials.
• Bar feeder, live tooling, rotary axis operation and set-up experience.
• Adjust speeds, feeds, tooling, and operational sequences.
• Position and secure work piece(s) in the machine(s).
• Load and swap tools in the machine.
• Post programs on the shop floor and load them into the machines.
• Machine parts per print.
• Swiss lathe experience is a plus.

CNC Lathe Specialist Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working on a CNC Lathe.
• Programming experience using Gibbs Cam or other comparable software.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of metallurgy, GD&T, and metrology.
• Swiss Lathe experience is a plus.
