Established and well-respected organization is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) with a passion for caring for those in need. We currently service 35 counties in the Atlanta metro area. We are currently searching for excellent CNAs in the Marietta, Cumming (North Atl), Fayetteville (South Atl) to name a few areas. This organization is committed to providing excellent and compassionate care for its home care clients. Duties and Responsibilities
Provides personal care and/or homemaker services on an hourly basis to the patient and follows the plan of care as assigned by the supervising RN
Informs RN of any unexpected changes in the patient's condition
Proactive in updating necessary certifications and credentials
Responsible for following an agreed upon schedule and keeps supervisor informed of any changes in scheduling
Follows all appropriate policies and procedures of the organization providing services for its patients
Must conduct his or herself in a professional manner while always displaying a positive attitude for the betterment of the clients in need of care
Qualifications:
Listed active on the Nurse Aide Registry, certified by the State Department of Health with no findings against the aide relating to client abuse of misappropriation of client property (Candidates MUST have certification prior to being hired)
Pass the competency evaluation of skills performed under the supervision of a RN
Must have current CPR certification, First Aide Certification, and current negative TB skin test results or equivalent (i.e. chest x-ray)
Hospice and previous work experience with Alzheimer/dementia patients is a plus
Must have a dependable mode of transportation
Must possess a valid State driver's license and current auto liability insurance
Must be able to work independently, be flexible and reliable
