Family friendly Occupational Medicine Clinic looking for full time CMA to assist with occupational medicine testing, physicals and administrative tasks. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule examinations using the computerized EMR system.
  • Reception duties include greeting examinees and visitors and direct them accordingly. Admit examinees in accordance with client protocols using EMR.
  • Other reception duties would include answer incoming telephone lines in accordance with the “3 ring” telephone etiquette policy and direct calls accordingly.
  • Check out examinee as necessary and distribute records in accordance with client protocol using EMR.
  • File paperwork, medical records, and correspondence.
  • Organizes medical records along with monitoring the receipt and completion of records according to timeline protocol.
  • Certified to perform drug screen collections and Breath Alcohol Testing according to Federal and State guidelines. Training available.
  • Certified to perform audiograms and pulmonary function screening tests. Training available.
  • Maintains inventory of office supplies and printed forms.
  • Monitors incoming shipments and makes sure shipments are correct.
  • Maintains equipment in working condition and reports equipment failures
  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in phlebotomy and immunizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in working with a multi-lined telephone system.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computers and Microsoft applications.
  • Minimum 1-year medical experience preferred.
  • Occupational Health experiences a plus.
  • Spanish as a second language a plus.
