For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-3 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 3 years of RN work experience!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

  • Position Summary
    • Responsible for overall clinical supervision and coordination of person-centered quality care on the SNF Unit and NF Unit. This includes clinical operations, as well as fiscal and regulatory requirements. Communicates the importance of Cove’s Edge philosophy, as well as Lincoln County Healthcare Mission and Vision. Emphasize the importance of the employee/customer relationship to realize positive outcomes. Acts as liaison with other departments to ensure care is delivered collaboratively using an interdisciplinary team approach. This Position will have responsibility for oversight of clinical nursing staff, including participation in education, evaluation and corrective action. Member of the Cove's Edge OPs (Operations) management team.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Minimum associate's degree or equivalent from two-year accredited School of Nursing.
    • License/Certifications: Current Maine State Registered Professional Nurse license required. Current BLS certification required. Certificate in Gerontology and Nursing Management preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum six months to one year of related experience and/or training (including geriatric nursing and nursing management). Experience in skilled and long term care nursing required; skilled and long term care management strongly preferred. Experience in dementia care strongly preferred.
    • Familiarity with and support of the Culture Change movement strongly preferred.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, employees, customers and/or boards of directors.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
