Program Coordinators (PC) are a hybrid of clinical interventions and milieu management interventions. Primarily PC’s ensure patient safety while on the unit, assist in managing MHT’s on their shift, and while also providing clinical interventions and programming in coordination with other members of the treatment team. PC’s are responsible for facilitating therapy and psychoeducational groups with the clients, with the support and guidance of the Program Manager; opportunities to facilitate specialty groups are available, contingent on PC clinical experience.

PC’s ensure that the clinical program initiatives are being executed while also addressing client stabilization throughout the shift. PC’s assess the therapeutic needs of the individual and the group while on the unit and are also liaisons between the clinical treatment team and the MHT’s for the purpose of developing and coordinating proper interventions and milieu needs for our patients. PC’s also work alongside the Program Manager in ongoing program evaluation, participating in the development of program evolution.
