Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pre-Admissions Testing Clinical Nurse Coordinator with us:

• You will exemplify professional nursing practice through expert clinical practice, strong leadership skills, and management activities.
• You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide expert patient care, in addition to providing direction and supervision to other staff caring for patients in Pre-Admission Testing.
• You will assist with completion of performance evaluations, participates in counseling and coaching of staff, and new hires.
• You will coordinate department compliance with all state, federal, and healthcare regulatory agencies, including JCAHO, State Health Department, QRS, etc.
• You will participate in developing and evaluating PI initiatives as they relate to Pre-Admission Testing.
• You will cooperatively, with Manager and Director conducts team meetings, staff development, and education.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS certification.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Two (2) years’ experience in Perioperative nursing.
• One (1) year experience in charge/supervisory or management position.
