Overview:
Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a Full Time Clinical Lab Assistant II for the Core Lab at Chilton Medical Center to work from 2:30pm - 10:30pm Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the receiving, processing and distribution of specimens and products
  • Maintaining and monitoring inventory of reagents and critical materials
  • Prepares, maintains Core Lab records for review.
  • Performing clerical duties, including but not limited to, answering phones and communicating needs to staff
  • Additional duties include specimen transport and entering patient information and test orders into EHR system
  • Operates laboratory equipment and performs instrument maintenance
  • Documents proper maintenance of instrumentation/equipment
  • Performs miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering the telephone and filing
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Associates/Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum Experience:
  • Laboratory/Medical Experience preferred
Qualifications
  • Demonstrates computer proficiency and great communication skills
