CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Client Project Administrative Assistant to join our Transportation – Bridge Team in Rocky Hill, CT.

YOUR IMPACT:
CHA’s bridge professionals incorporate collaborative and diverse thinking with practical and cost-effective designs that responsibly improve mobility and safety. We have inspected, designed, managed, and overseen the construction of a wide array of grade separated crossings, retaining systems, and conveyance structures throughout the United States. As the average age of our nation’s bridges nears 50 years, successful bridge projects must balance complex analytics, engineering innovation and context sensitivity with economic prudency and long-term feasibility.

The Client Project Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient operations of their team. Specific tasks may include taking care of standard paperwork, scheduling, coordinating taking notes during meetings, preparing mailings, assisting with documents/printing, and handling travel arrangements. The right individual for this role will be an organized self-starter who enjoys working both independently and with others and doesn’t mind pitching in to help when it’s needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate’s required, Bachelor’s preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience required
  • CTDOT administrative experience is a plus
  • Experience with Adobe BlueBeam, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & Outlook is required
  • Experience with Deltek Vision is a plus
  • Attentive to detail, strong communication and organizational skills
  • Friendly, welcoming demeanor
  • Time management skills, ability to multitask
  • Ability to manage petty cash preferred
