JOB SUMMARY:
General Cleaners maintain the cleanliness of their designated building/areas by performing various cleaning duties. Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. Must be flexible in other duties as assigned by supervisor.
SCHEDULE:
Monday through Friday from 5:30pm to 11:00pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dust surfaces including desktops, cabinet tops, partitions, etc.
- Empty wastebaskets and recyclables; transport to designated disposal area.
- Sweep and mop hard surfaced floors.
- Vacuum floors using upright vacuum and/or vac packs.
- Spot clean carpet.
- Clean glass areas
- Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc.
- Clean restrooms and maintain supplies-ensure restrooms are stocked.
- Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
- Job duties may be modified at any time based on customer or manager discretion.
- Follow all company safety standards and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Able to stand or walk during entire shift to accomplish tasks. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Able to work in teams if needed.
- Able to work with cleaning chemicals.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
