We are currently looking to hire a part time lead teacher. The position is for Monday through Friday from 12-6pm.
The Lead Teacher supports the staff, creates and implements lesson plans, communicates with clients, and maintains the daily programming. Other tasks include supervising the classroom, helping with meals, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and directing staff in other daily care tasks.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of a CDA or an associates degree in a child related field
- The ability to meet state licensing requirements for education and experience
- Must pass a background check, get CPR and first aid certified, and have an up to date TB test. (Horizon will cover the costs to achieve each of these requirements upon hiring)
