The Goddard School in Cedar Park, TX (located in north Austin) is looking for an Education Director for our dynamic 4-Star TRIS accredited school. Goddard Systems is a national leader in the early childhood education industry. The Goddard School of Cedar Park is recognized as one of the leading private schools for school readiness preparation, has been designated a Circle of Excellence winner multiple years and has a COGNIA and P21 accreditation. The program is large with 2 buildings (16,000 SF total) with children ranging in age from infant to 5th grade. A candidate must have excellent leadership and communication skills, a strong commitment to education, and have a good understanding of age appropriate activities for young children.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overseeing preschool and after school/summer camp operations including human resources, quality assurance, and facility operations

• Developing strong relationships with our families and faculty

• Hiring teaching staff and manage onboarding

• Managing a budget and coordination with state licensing

• Displaying highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

• Overseeing curricular resources for infant through 1st grade and school age (after school and summer camp) programs

• Establishing partnerships within the local community

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• BA or BS Degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience directing a large childcare center of at least 200 children.

• Prior experience working with accreditation agencies such as NAEYC, COGNIA or P21

• Preferred: experience with kindergarten and first grade; large school age summer camp and after school programs; STEAM curriculum
