New Hire Bonus: $1,500

Work Hours: 3-4 hours per day, depending on site

Location: Discovery Club ECE sites located throughout the District - could be in Sacramento, Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Orangevale, and Fair Oaks.

Benefits: Benefits Package offered with 4-hour positions: Medical Benefits are paid 100% for employee and 75% for dependent coverage; Cal PERS retirement.

This position is entry-level and works with Discovery Club. Previous experience working with school-age children ages 5-12 is a plus. Please list on application and provide documentation with your application that demonstrates relevant experience and/or education for this position.

Preferences include (but not required):

Proof of Associate Teacher Permit (ATP) from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC);

Higher education that includes completion of college units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) desirable;

And/or completion of 6 ECE units desirable If providing Transcripts with application, they must be OFFICIAL transcripts. ***If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
