CHHA/CNA Job at Onora
The Clare Estate is an award-winning, beautiful 10-acre estate located in historic Bordentown offering best-in-class independent, assisted living and memory care. Our goal is to provide seniors a way to lead happy, self-directed lives. The Clare Estate is currently looking to hire a full-time Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) who will support our clients safety, wellbeing, and capacity to continue living at home.
CHHA/CNA Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct resident care as needed (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Provide reminders for program activities and meals.
- Assist and/or participate with residents in program activities and outings.
- Provide weekly housekeeping and laundry services.
- Ability to work assigned schedules including weekends and holiday
- Performs all assigned duties in accordance with established facility policies and procedures, nursing care procedures, and facility safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must have 2-3 years’ experience as a primary caregiver in Senior Living, Home Health or Skilled Nursing required.
- Current NJ CNA or CHHA certificate REQUIRED.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Great Interpersonal skills
- Motivated to work and grow with a senior population.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.13 per hour
