Comfort Keepers of Secaucus is actively seeking caring, responsible and reliable Certified Home Health Aides for immediate placement to provide hourly assistance to our clients in North Bergen, Secaucus, and Jersey City, NJ. Must have NJ CHHA license, have and drive a car, and speak English. Positions are available eight hours a day, seven days a week. Guaranteed hours - 20 to 40 hours per week. Live-in positions are also available.
As a CHHA on our team, you will provide one-on-one assistance to seniors in the comfort of their own homes to ensure they are living the most positive and purposeful lives possible. This role will allow you to connect with seniors on a personal level and make a positive impact on their day-to-day health and well-being.
Certified Home Health Aide Duties May Include:
- Activities of daily living - bathing/showering, dressing, etc.
- Medication reminders
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping, such as dusting/vacuuming/dishes
- Companionship - Interacting with clients and engaging them to live fuller lives

Certified Home Health Aide Job Requirements:
- Must have CHHA Certificate (New Jersey)
- PPD within last 12 months
- Proof of Rubella and Rubeola vaccinations
- Read, write, understand, and speak English
- Must drive and have a car
- Be genuinely concerned about helping people and have high moral standards of honesty and integrity!
Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) applicants must meet or exceed minimum qualifications for each of the following background checks:
- Criminal Background Investigation
- Professional and Personal Reference Checks
Must accept responsibility for learning and adhering to Comfort Keepers policies and procedures, be able to function in the home setting with minimal direct supervision and maintain satisfactory relationships with administrative staff, clients, and family members.
The CHHA position is available through our main office located at 58 Harmon Cove Tower Suite 58, Secaucus, NJ 07094. Comfort Keepers Home Care in Secaucus, NJ serves Jersey City, North Bergen, Bayonne, Kearny, Lyndhurst, and the surrounding areas. This position may require travel to one or more of these areas.
