Position Summary:

The warehouse team moves products in and out of warehouses ensuring our customers receive the products they order. The Checker works in the warehouse and verify both inbound and outbound inventory matches.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Ensure load accuracy at check in and check out by physical counting
  • Maintain required records
  • Data entry into ERP System
  • Provide customer service by assisting and handling internal and external drivers
  • Visually inspect all incoming and outgoing vehicles including climbing onto trucks and manually opening bay doors
  • Maintain direct interaction and communication with supervisors about progress, opportunities, and/or best practices.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 18 years old.
  • 0 to 1 plus years’ experience with inventory control methods, techniques or processes
  • Customer service mindset
  • Organizational and administrative skills
  • Work flexible hours/shifts including overtime and Saturdays as needed.
  • Detail oriented with a keen focus on accuracy.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift to 50 lbs.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • HS diploma/GED and/or Associate’s degree
  • 6 months of related experience (i.e., working in a distribution warehouse environment, roofer, farmhand, grocery dock, construction, manipulating patients in a hospital/nursing home or physical therapy environment, or other positions which require continuous heavy lifting which deals with multi-temperature).
  • Forklift certification
