Charge Entry Specialist Job at Sunvera Group
The Sunvera Group, an Ophthalmology managed service organization, is currently hiring a Charge Entry Specialist to work in the Revenue Cycle Management Department at Bingham Farms, MI.
The Charge Entry Specialist is responsible for:
- Ensuring that charges for the assigned areas are captured timely and in an appropriate manner, in compliance with federal, state and payor regulations
- Reviewing charges and add necessary modifiers, units, referring providers to ensure clean claim submission
- Reviewing claim rejection reports to ensure necessary corrections are made
- Working with department leadership to communicate with front office and clinical staff regarding missing or incorrect information preventing clean claim submission
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in physician operations, billing and coding, compliance, and provider relations
- Deep knowledge about medical insurance/Medicare/Medicaid/BCBSM and other Michigan commercial plans
- Ophthalmology & Retina Billing Experience Preferred
- Nextech P+ and ICP System Experience Preferred
