With its dedicated team of physicians, family nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and other healthcare providers and support staff, AMC is committed to helping their local communities' citizens stay as healthy as possible at every age and every stage of life.

We are looking to expand our team and are currently seeking to employ a Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant for our Hardy, Arkansas clinic. We offer competitive pay and benefits as well as a relaxed, team-based working environment. Come join the team!

The following list is a snapshot of the common duties for this position:

  • Monitor and record vital signs, medical history (surgical, family, etc)
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures
  • Assist with minor clinical procedures
  • Point of care testing
  • Administer medication, vaccinations
  • Treat and assist patients with an illness or injury
  • Gauge a patient's overall state of health
  • Provide health education to patients and families
  • Promote patient wellness
  • Ensure appropriate legal and regulatory standards
  • Referrals and Prior Authorizations
  • Notify patients of test results
  • Answer phones
  • Perform registration duties as needed (verify insurance, update demographics, schedule appointment, etc)

COVID-19 considerations:

All staff are required to have COVID vaccination. Masks are required to be worn in the clinic when patients are present.

License/Certification:

  • CMA/MA certification
  • BLS Certification

Work Location: One location

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
