The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) assists health professionals throughout clinical areas with various aspects of patient care. Duties include, but are not limited to: rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting with exams, conducting basic lab & sterilization procedures, basic pharmacology, medical coding/billing, and scheduling. Our staff strives to work at the top of their scope and delivers compassionate, quality patient care.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma/GED required.

Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.

License/Certification: Current Certified Medical Assistance license required. Must have/obtain CPR certification within 3 months of hire.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills preferred. Strong problem-solving, communication and computer skills required. Knowledgeable regarding current standards of practice and competencies of CMA’s as endorsed by the WA State Department of Health.
