Your Job as a Certified Medical Assistant:
The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible to complete clinical care and administrative tasks within the clinic, as defined by their certification within the state where the clinic is operating.


We have daily shifts that allow our employees to have stable schedules and enjoy quality time away from the facility. Shift hours are early mornings from 4:45am - 1:15pm Monday thru Friday and 4:45am -9:30am on rotating Saturdays when applicable , allowing you to enjoy a great work/life balance.


Your Responsibilities as
a Certified Medical Assistant:

  • Responsible for taking vital signs, venipuncture, the collection of body fluid specimens for analysis and any other procedure in which they have been trained when ordered by the proper professionals;
  • Demonstrates organizational skills and the ability to work with the public and a general working knowledge of operating an office in a medical or clinic setting;
  • Works under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Clinic Director and Office Manager (if applicable);
  • Assists the clinical staff in managing a specific caseload when their training and / or experience of working in an outpatient treatment program qualifies them to do so;
  • May also be responsible for receptionist duties that include telephone answering, recording messages, scheduling appointments and ordering supplies, as assigned, with responsibility for the accountability system for receipts and cash control;
  • May process incoming and outgoing correspondence; and,
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Your Skills and Qualifications as a Certified Medical Assistant:

  • Medical Assistant training from an accredited program
  • Prefer experience in a clinic or outpatient setting.
  • Previous experience with behavioral health or addiction recovery field preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Medical Assistant certification in the state of Florida.
