JOB SUMMARY

The Invasive Cardiovascular (ICV) Materials Coordinator is a specifically trained individual employed by Hamilton Medical Center who is responsible for overseeing the daily review of revenue of ICV Services, purchasing process and charges in the Invasive Cardiovascular Department. This person also assists with evaluations and purchase of new equipment. Maintains knowledge of procedures and processes. Also responsible for the following: Analyzes accounting records to determine financial resources required to implement programs and makes recommendations for budget allocations to ensure conformance to budgetary limits. Also responsible for reviewing operating budgets periodically in order to analyze trends affecting budget needs. Provides cost analysis results to assist management in decision making or other financial initiatives. Performs variance analysis between actual and standard costs. Monitors, analyzes and reports on inventory valuation, production and various other costs. Prepares financial statements for internal and external users. Collects and analyzes financial data. Assists external auditors as needed. Frequent contacts with sales representatives and medical staff requiring tact and/or discretion.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School graduate, some college preferred

Licensure: None required

Experience: Some experience in a clinical area or business area preferred

Skills: Good communication skills. Ability to organize and set priorities. Skills with spreadsheets, report development, and basic computer operation. Manual dexterity to handle stocking of supplies and computer processing.
