Carpenters Apprentice
Austin Fanning General Contractors is looking for a Carpenters Apprentice to join our team. We specialize in Additions, Renovations, Kitchens and Bathrooms. Most work is on-site. Job Purpose:
Produces carpentry products and services by determining requirements and constructing structures while working with and observing Carpenter and Lead Carpenter.
Duties:
- Prepare sites to ensure maximum optimization of construction work procedures
- Assist Carpenter(s) in daily projects
- Clean debris, trash, and materials from sites
- Clean and maintain construction equipment
- Align structural components according to blue prints
- Load and unload equipment from trucks
- Use hand tools to cut and shape material as per instructions
- Utilize online portal (via mobile app) to log daily job, clock in and out, post pictures, receive daily tasks and communicate with company owners
Qualifications/Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in Construction
- High school education or equivalent, college degree is a plus!
- Knowledge and ability to use all power and hand tools
- U.S. citizen or proof of legal residency
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Computer/Tech Skills
Salary and Benefits
- Full time
- Salary $18-22 Depending on Experience
- Sick time, Holidays, PTO (after 1 year)
