Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency for Trades and Skilled Trades, is seeking an Apprentice Carpenter to join our team in the Puget Sound region.

The ideal candidate will be willing to travel to different locations within the Puget Sound, have reliable transportation, and a commitment to their job. As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will be responsible for assisting experienced carpenters in the construction of structures such as buildings, frameworks, and roofs.

Responsibilities:

· Assist experienced carpenters in constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.

· Cut and shape materials to specific measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.

· Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine the specifications and dimensions of the structure or fixture to be built.

· Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.

· Assist in building frameworks, walls, roofs, and decks.

· Perform various carpentry tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements:

· Must be 18 years or older

· Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different job sites within the Puget Sound

· Commitment to the job

· Ability to perform manual labor tasks

· Familiarity with carpentry tools and equipment

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Must have own hand-tools
