ROERS COMPANIES Cloquet, MN 55720

Description:

We are seeking an energetic, dedicated professional to join our team in Cloquet/Duluth, MN as a Caretaker.

About Us

Roers Companies is an emerging leader in real estate development and property management. Headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota, we’re on a mission to elevate multifamily housing nationwide by developing and operating market-rate and affordable housing. Since our founding in 2012, our team has developed nearly $2 billion in real estate, representing more than 5,000 homes. The property management division, previously named Core Living, has ranked among America’s fastest-growing companies on the Inc. 5000 list for the past three years. Our team thrives on purpose-filled work, an entrepreneurial spirit, and unlimited growth potential.

About the Property

Our historic preservation development at Carlton Lofts aimed to bring affordable housing and office space to Cloquet. The 57 rental units provide a much-needed housing option for local working families using the old high school building at its shell. The property still reflects its origins with details like chalkboards and lockers but provides functional and spacious living to residents. Carlton Lofts was designated a 2020 Top Project by Finance & Commerce.

Nestled near the shores of Lake Superior in the heart of Duluth, Cove Apartments celebrates the harbor city with nautical-inspired interior touches and inviting resident spaces. On the corner of Lake Avenue and East First Street, the 1910 Builders Exchange property and adjoining Interstate Auto building have been reinvented as a cozy 48-unit community with studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments including five affordable units. Phase 1 of this community opened in Fall 2020 and reached 100% occupancy within 45 days of opening. Phase 2 sits next door, connected via an adjoining skyway, and will open during Fall 2022 with 38 spacious new units.

You’re passionate about your work and driven to achieve ambitious goals. You step up when the team needs an extra hand and aren’t afraid to ask for help when you need it. You make smart decisions because you get the big picture and ace the little details. In other words, you share our corporate values — passion, work ethic, teamwork, integrity, and ownership mindset.
