Caregivers/ Care providers wanted - Newport Beach, CA Job at Dayle Mcintosh Center
We are currently looking for people who are caring, loving and patient to work with seniors and persons with disabilities as a care provider. There are currently many full and part time positions at this time. There is a dire need for care providers at this time. Help us keep these folx out of facility and safe in their homes.
Tasks include:
Transferring from toilet to wheelchair. Dressing for exercise in neighborhood. Recipient is 6' 170 lbs. They can bear weight so it’s balancing not lifting.
Shower and dressing after exercise. Transferring to and from shower bench to wheelchair.
Will sometimes need to be transferred back to toilet, as well as assistance with cleaning
Will need help prepared for work; bags gathered and organized, drive my van 5 blocks and back. (10 or so)
Occasionally will need to be driven for medical, other appointments nearby. Might need to be transferred to and from toilet,
Able to work well with others
