Caregiver (PT) Job at Christian Servants Home Care, LLC
Christian Servants Home Care is looking for reliable caregivers to join our team! We support people with special needs and the elderly. We provide non-medical needs, respite care, companionship, meal preparation, childcare, transportation, housekeeping, daily living assistance, and more!
We are currently hiring someone who has afterschool and weekend availability. For this position, you will provide care to children with special needs to allow the family a break. Caregivers must be willing to build a strong relationship with clients and engage them in activities to target specific goals the family has.
Requirements:
- Must pass a background check;
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record;
- Must possess a reliable vehicle and insurance;
- Must have a reliable phone with voicemail and internet (you will be required to clock in and out on your phone);
- Must be compassionate and reliable.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care, which may include bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating;
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks;
- Providing mobility assistance may be required, for example helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair;
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs.
