Caregiver for Special-Needs Children Job at The Jacob family

Do you love sweet kids? Are you looking for a way to help “the least of these” while earning some extra money? Brad and J.J. Jacob are looking to hire caregivers for our children with disabilities. No prior experience is necessary — training is included in the job. Part-time and full-time (no benefits) positions are available including both day and evening shifts for weekdays and weekends. Work in a happy, somewhat chaotic home around multiple wheelchairs and service dogs; meals are free when falling within a shift. Duties are varied, including anything that helps to support the kids and maintain the home: personal care, exercises/stretches, companionship, cooking, and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment.

Requirements: At least 18 years old.
Reliable transportation to work (Bayside area).
Love kids, cats & dogs.
Some weekend availability is required.
Can lift c. 50 pounds safely.
Willing to learn to use medical/assistive equipment.
Flexibility, initiative, and attention to detail.
Team player
